ALUMNI
Since Spring 2000, the alumni of the Washington Academic Internship Program has grown to over 200 in number. They are pursuing advanced degrees and careers in public service, public policy, law, and the private sector. About 30 alumni have returned to the Washington area after graduation, and some are working as full-time employees at their former internship sites.

Elizabeth La Jeunesse (Spring 2003) is a Senior Economic Research associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. She is currently co-authoring two working papers in the area of applied regional microeconomics.
Melissa Sharp (Winter 2002) is working for the National Federation of Independent Business in their Media Department while attending CUA's School of Law in the evenings.
Allison Specht (Winter 2004) is now back in Washington, serving as a Legislative Assistant (LA) for Senator DeWine (R-OH).
